Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a Tower Foreman to lead erection, construction, and maintenance of communication tower sites. You will supervise crew members and ensure OSHA safety procedures are followed, while coordinating with Construction and Project Managers.

This safety-sensitive role requires field leadership, technical rigging knowledge, and travel across projects with a strong emphasis on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related trade school education preferred.
• Three years’ experience climbing towers, stacking, rigging, etc.
• OSHA 10hr Certification; OSHA 30hr preferred; RF awareness certification.
• Must be able to operate aerial lifts and read piping diagrams and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tower site activities day and night to ensure safety and quality.
• Lead tower-top operations, including rigging, hoisting, and installation tasks.
• Install up-top equipment (masts, antennas, RRUs, cabling) and ensure azimuth accuracy.
• Perform cable installations, terminations, grounding, bonding, and testing where needed.
• Mentor crew on safety practices, lead safety meetings, and ensure JHA completion.
• Coordinate site prep, equipment maintenance, and daily housekeeping.
