Ontivity is seeking a Civil Technician to support tower construction and site development. This role collaborates with the Civil Foreman to pour foundations, install fencing, grounding, and site maintenance per customer specs.

Responsibilities include following safety protocols, operating backhoes and forklifts, and reading drawings to complete mounting and testing procedures. Extensive travel is required, with long hours in varied outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc.
• Ability to operate different types of equipment such as backhoe, forklift, electrical and hand tools
• Successful completion of industrial first aid and rescue training
• Must be able to work in a team environment on the crew and be a valued member of the team and the company.
• Communicate in person, by phone and radio with supervisor, foreman and co-workers
• Electrical Experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Assist Civil Foreman with foundations, fencing, grounding and site prep.
• Perform ground work and install customer-specified components per customer specs.
• Maintain safe work environment and complete JSA forms.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment and assist overall crew tasks.
• Read drawings and mounting specs to support on-site tasks.
