Leidos is seeking a Towed System IMA technician in Poulsbo, WA to inspect, test, troubleshoot, assemble and install towed array systems on naval platforms. The role involves pier-side work, occasional overseas and CONUS travel, and coordination with Navy and government stakeholders.

Overtime and surge work may be required to meet Navy operational schedules; PQS-based advancement is possible within the IMA program.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited technical institute or apprentice program in electronics above high school level or completion of a military electronics course equivalent to U.S. Navy 'C' school, with at least two years' experience in testing and repair of electronic/electrical equipment.
• Experience using electronic test equipment and operating handheld power tools.
• Must obtain interim Secret clearance before employment.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs without assistance.
• Must complete a background check and physical to operate company trucks.

Mansioni

• Perform towed array module physical inspection and electrical testing.
• Troubleshoot, assemble, install and remove towed bodies shipboard and pier-side.
• Travel overseas and within CONUS on short notice as required.
• Overtime or surge work to meet U.S. Navy schedules.
• Interact with Navy, Government and civilian support contractors; qualify as a Towed Systems IMA technician.
