Job summary

ARNAZ Towing in Southeast Michigan is seeking a dispatcher who can run our board like an air traffic controller: fast, calm, and accurate. You will answer incoming calls, dispatch tow trucks, and route jobs efficiently based on driver location and priority.

You will track drivers in real time, confirm each job completion, and communicate professionally with customers, drivers and motor club/insurance partners (AAA and others).

Qualifications

• Prior dispatch experience in towing, trucking, delivery or emergency services is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and geography.
• Clear, calm communicator on the phone and under pressure.
• Able to multitask across several live jobs simultaneously.
• Basic computer proficiency; dispatch software experience is a plus.
• Reliable, accountable and able to work rotating or overnight shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and dispatch tow trucks quickly.
• Track drivers and jobs in real time — location, ETA and status.
• Route jobs efficiently based on driver location and priority.
• Follow up to confirm each job is completed and customer is cared for.
• Communicate professionally with customers, drivers and partners.
• Keep accurate records in the dispatch system (Towbook).
• Flag delays, disputes or safety issues early.
