Job summary

ARNAZ Towing in Southeast Michigan is seeking a dispatcher to manage emergency roadside calls and motor club dispatches. You will answer calls, dispatch tow trucks, and track multiple live jobs in real time to ensure fast, accurate service.

Candidates should be able to communicate calmly under pressure, multitask across several simultaneous jobs, and maintain precise records in Towbook. Training provided for rotating or overnight shifts and customer coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dispatcher in towing, trucking, delivery or emergency services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and geography.
• Clear, calm communication on phone and under pressure.
• Ability to multitask across several live jobs.
• Basic computer skills; dispatch software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and dispatch tow trucks quickly to locations.
• Track drivers and jobs in real time (location, ETA, status).
• Route jobs efficiently based on location, truck type and priority.
• Follow up to confirm completion and customer care.
• Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, and partners (AAA and others).
• Keep accurate records in dispatch system (Towbook).
• Flag delays, disputes, or safety issues early.

• Track every driver and job in real time — location, ETA, and status.
• Route jobs efficiently based on driver location, truck type, and priority.
• Follow up to confirm each job is completed and the customer is taken care of.
• Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, and motor club/insurance partners (AAA and others).
• Keep accurate records in our dispatch system (Towbook).
• Flag problems — delays, disputes, safety issues — before they become bigger problems.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Prior dispatch experience (towing, trucking, delivery, or emergency services) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and geography.
• Clear, calm communicator — on the phone and under pressure.
• Comfortable multitasking across several live jobs at once.
• Basic computer proficiency; dispatch software experience a plus.
• Reliable, accountable, and able to work a rotating or overnight shift as needed.
