Job summary

The San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living is seeking a Total Rewards Manager to lead compensation, benefits, and recognition programs for 900+ employees across Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living. This hands-on role administers programs, resolves issues, ensures data accuracy, and maintains compliance with laws and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 6-8+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of total rewards, compensation design, compliance, and market trends.
• Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert and day-to-day owner of compensation operations.
• Review and process compensation changes including promotions, transfers, and market adjustments.
• Analyze compensation data, internal equity, market trends, and external benchmarks.
• Conduct job evaluations, salary reviews, market benchmarking, and internal equity analysis.
• Lead and administer the annual compensation planning and review cycle in ADP; provide manager support and reporting.
• Maintain salary structures, pay ranges, job classifications, and compensation frameworks.
• Own day-to-day administration and operational management of employee benefit programs.
• Manage benefits renewals, open enrollment, plan changes, and system configuration.
