Job summary

San Francisco Chamber seeks a Benefits & Compensation Manager to lead total rewards strategy across clinical, administrative, and operational roles. You will ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant compensation and benefits aligned with the organization’s mission and values.

The role oversees salary administration, benchmarking, benefits/retirement plan oversight, and regulatory compliance, with data-driven reporting to support effectiveness and fiscal stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years direct Total Rewards management with ownership of compensation and benefits programs.
• Experience designing and managing salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs.
• Experience overseeing organizational benefit programs and vendor partnerships.
• Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Total Rewards strategy for compensation and benefits programs.
• Design and manage salary structures, pay ranges, and job architecture.
• Own focal increase programs and incentive plans.
• Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, and compensation analysis.
• Partner with Finance and TA on compensation modeling and offer strategy.
• Manage benefits programs including medical, dental, 403(b), leaves, workers’ comp.
