Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is seeking a Total Rewards Manager to design and administer compensation, benefits, leave, and pension programs across multiple entities. This hands-on role partners with Finance and HR leadership to ensure competitive, compliant total rewards practices.

The position requires advanced Excel modeling, strong HRIS skills (ADP Workforce Now and SAP SuccessFactors), and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 7–10 years in compensation/benefits administration required
• Hands-on experience establishing compensation structures, pay bands/grades, and job leveling frameworks
• Experience administering health and welfare benefits and annual open enrollment
• Experience administering leaves of absence including FMLA/ADA/state leaves
• Experience administering workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs
• Proficiency with ERP/HRIS systems and data integrity in compensation
• Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, DOL, ACA, FLSA, and multi-state pay transparency regulations
• Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain compensation structures, pay bands, and job leveling frameworks.
• Administer annual compensation planning cycles, merit increases, bonuses, and market updates.
• Conduct market pricing and salary benchmarking using market data tools.
• Evaluate internal equity and progression when leveling positions.
• Administer health and welfare benefits programs and annual open enrollment.
• Lead open enrollment process with vendor coordination and system updates.
• Administer leaves of absence and disability programs.
• Administer workers’ compensation programs and return-to-work processes.
• Harmonize compensation/benefit programs across entities and acquisitions.
• Prepare and present total rewards analyses to executives.
