We are currently hiring for a Total Rewards Analyst to join on our HR Team.
Essential Functions:
- Support the day-to-day administration of self-insured medical and prescription drug plans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
- Track healthcare enrollment trends, analyze utilization data, and assist in benefits forecasting.
- Reconcile and audit monthly benefits invoices; identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits of compensation and benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance across HR systems and vendor platforms.
- Lead annual open enrollment and year-round benefit events (new hire, life events), including system setup, colleague communications, training materials, and support.
- Partner with benefits vendors and benefit brokers/advisors to resolve escalated benefit inquiries and problems
- Assist in developing and delivering total rewards communications, guides, and training for colleagues and managers.
- In partnership with Fidelity, support 401(k) plan administration and compliance, data management, communication and participate in the Axia 401(k) committee.
- Lead and complete annual and ongoing benefit plan compliance projects, including ACA, 1095-C reporting/distribution, 5500 preparation and plan audit facilitation (involving multiple plans, and plan contacts).
- Assist in the administration of base pay and variable compensation programs, including market benchmarking, salary reviews, and bonus calculations.
- Support annual merit and bonus cycle processes through data preparation, auditing, and reporting.
- Oversee job description repository, and lead initiative to inventory, review and update job descriptions as needed for both new and existing positions
- Prepare regular and ad hoc compensation and benefits reports for internal use and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in total rewards workflows and systems.
- Support optimization of HR systems (e.g., UKG) to enhance data integrity and user experience.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and vendors to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant total rewards operations.
- Contribute to special projects and HR initiatives as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in benefits and/or compensation administration, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Experience with self-insured medical and Rx plan administration strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of LOA policies and compliance preferred (FMLA, ADA, etc.).
- Working understanding of relevant regulations including ACA, ERISA, and HIPAA.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and familiar with HRIS platforms; UKG/Plan Source experience a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- SPHR, CCP or CEBS certification preferred.
- Proactive and solution-focused customer-service approach – must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization effectively, timely and thoroughly.
- Commitment to confidentiality and the highest level of integrity.
- Aptitude for problem-solving, decision-making, and process improvement. Ability to adapt quickly based on business needs and multi-task between various projects.
- Positive and energetic team player, with a drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines and find solutions.
*Individual must be located in USA - eastern standard time preferred & not all states are eligible; in frequent travel required for onsite meetings, projects and other events as needed.
