Description:
This position is 100% fully remote.

Represents a proficient consultant providing subject matter knowledge for supporting Total
Rewards Compensation, its Center of Expertise (COE) Leaders, Leaders from other COEs,
HR Business Partners and the HR Service Center in the design, development and delivery
of Total Rewards Compensation programs and services. Provides specialized, consultative
analytical support in the planning, defining and validating of functional area programs,
including strategy, philosophy and policy development and in the design, development,
review and modification of component-specific program plans, policies and procedures.
Supports the development of and dissemination of compensation related communication
materials; conducts compliance audits; performs evaluative analysis of programs and their
impacts; and participates in organization-wide compensation or HR-sponsored special
projects or initiatives. Work activities include administering component-specific program
policies and procedures; conducting job evaluation and market analysis; developing job
descriptions; supporting executive and colleague increase budgeting, planning and
processing; assisting in the administration of variable compensation plans; advising
executives, managers and colleagues on Total Rewards programs, policies and procedures.
Responds to and completes multiple, varied and technically diverse assignments.

This position is 100% fully remote.

Responsible for supporting Total Rewards Compensation, its Center of Expertise (COE) Leaders and Consultants, HR Business Partners, and the HR Service Center in the design, development and delivery of programs and services intended to meet the needs of the Ministry. Under guidance, provides comprehensive analytical support to functional area programs by performing evaluative and reporting activities of business operational services and assisting with the completion and delivery of portions of large scale and high impact projects; developing related communications; conducting administrative processing activities and participating in Ministry or Human Resources sponsored special projects and initiatives. Work activities reflect increased complexity and greater decision-making and problem-solving latitude in conducting job evaluation and market analysis; developing job descriptions; utilizing and maintaining appropriate compensation tools, systems and databases, and responding to multiple, varied and technically detailed assignments. Responsibilities are generally complex requiring the application of a broad knowledge of compensation methods, practices and techniques.

Posting Job Description

1. Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
2. Develops and documents job description requirements and conducts internal and external job content analysis in order to assign appropriate job titles and determine relative pay level/grade and FLSA status.
3. Researches, compiles and analyzes compensation related data from third-party surveys in order to support pay related decision-making. Identifies issues, concerns and needs for changes in analysis and investigates alternative approaches and makes recommendations as needed.
4. Updates, maintains and ensures the accuracy of market data related documents and databases. Updates and maintains job documentation related materials, systems and databases. Creates and disseminates reports, as appropriate.

5. Compiles and analyzes market-based compensation and colleague data for assigned projects; assists in development and review of compensation guidelines and their application; proposes/recommends salaries within established parameters; conducts off cycle analysis, market equity and internal compression pay adjustments; participates in annual salary planning, and provides support and recommendations for establishing annual compensation budget and multi-year plans.
6. Initiates and participates in internal/external (third-party) compensation surveys and research tools within regulatory and departmental guidelines.
7. Performs supporting work assigned by consultants, functional or Ministry leaders, which may be portions of larger projects or deliverables. Participates in organization-wide or Human Resources-sponsored special projects or initiatives, as assigned. Supports Merger, Divestiture and Acquisition (MD&A) related activities, as directed.
8. Performs administrative processing activities, not supported by the HR Service Center, which may be broad and complex in nature and requiring increased problem-solving abilities.
9. Responds to escalated inquiries from the HR Service Center on Total Rewards programs. May provide information on Total Rewards practices and guidelines to executives, managers and colleagues; provides initial problem resolution and seeks additional guidance as appropriate.
10. Provides input in the design and development of Total Rewards policies and procedures and associated communication materials. Recommends changes and enhancements to operational business processes and procedures.
11. Actively participates in the development and delivery of Total Rewards team member engagement, education and development activities and general colleague education from a Total Rewards perspective.
12. Performs other duties as needed and assigned by the Manager.
13. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

Pay Range- $74,114- $111,172
