Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC seeks a Senior Director, Proposal Management to lead the enterprise proposal function for DoD, IC, and federal markets. You will develop strategy, governance, and quality standards while guiding a multidisciplinary team through complex, high-value bids.

This hands-on leadership role interfaces with executive leadership to translate capture strategies into winning proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, English, marketing, management, or related field.
• 12+ years of federal proposal development experience, including complex bids.
• 5+ years supervising or leading proposal professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting DoD, IC, and other federal procurements.
• Extensive experience managing full proposal lifecycle from pre-solicitation through submission.
• Experience developing proposal strategies and facilitating color-team reviews.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent pursuits with competing deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes and proposal compliance.
• Ability to develop and refine technical, management, staffing, and past-performance content.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise proposal management function and establish standards for planning, development, review, production, submission, and post-submission activities.
• Supervise and develop Proposal Managers, Coordinators, Writers, and Graphic Designers; allocate resources across pursuits.
• Translate customer intelligence and win themes into compelling proposal content with Capture Managers.
• Develop execution plans addressing schedules, assignments, reviews, production requirements, dependencies, and milestones.
• Lead kickoff meetings, stand-ups, strategy sessions, content reviews, and other development activities.
• Facilitate structured color-team reviews appropriate to pursuit size and maturity.
• Ensure proposals are compliant, persuasive, visually effective, and aligned with requirements.
• Maintain compliance tools, templates, matrices, schedules, and quality-control processes.
• Directly manage selected strategic, high-value proposals from planning to submission.
• Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to develop accurate technical and management content.
• Integrate proposal development with pricing, contracts, legal, and operations.
• Identify risks and resource gaps early and elevate issues for leadership action.
• Oversee proposal production, editing, formatting, version control, and delivery.
• Develop proposal libraries and lessons learned for repeat use.
• Conduct post-submission reviews to improve future performance.
• Establish and monitor proposal metrics for workload and quality.
