Job summary

Lodestar is seeking a Director of Capture & Proposal Operations to own end-to-end federal acquisition work, shaping requirements and leading proposal execution for USSF, SpaceWERX, AFRL, DIU, and other DoW/IC entities.

You'll manage the lifecycle of bids, craft executive summaries, and build a reusable proposal library while growing a future capture team. A Secret clearance is required, TS/SCI preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in federal capture management and proposal operations.
• Proven success winning prime contracts with USSF, DIU, AFRL, DoW and others.
• Strong FAR/DFARS knowledge; familiar with OTAs, IDIQs and MAAs.
• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture strategy, pipeline shaping and competitive positioning for high-value proposals.
• Own the end-to-end proposal development process and schedule management.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs and craft compliant, winning narratives.
