Job summary

Insight Global seeks a full-time Desktop Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and remedial maintenance on standard desktop devices and supporting hardware across sites. Responsibilities include servicing PCs, printers, scanners, projectors, and related peripherals, following OEM recommendations, and maintaining inventory levels to minimize spare parts obsolescence.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT experience required.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware technology (computers, printers, etc).

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and remedial maintenance for desktop devices and supporting hardware.
• Maintain inventory at minimum levels to prevent obsolescence of spare parts.
• Service a variety of PC systems, printers, scanners, cameras, headsets, card readers, projectors, and KVM switches.
• Follow OEM maintenance recommendations and participate in asset management.

Job Description

This individual will be a full-time employee and will be responsible for providing preventive and remedial maintenance for all standard desktop devices and supporting hardware. The desktop equipment list for each site includes a variety of PC systems (with keyboards, monitors, card readers, and mice) from major manufacturers. Supporting hardware is primarily printers, scanners, web cameras, headsets, card readers, projectors, and KVM switches. They will be expected to provide periodic and preventative maintenance services based upon Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations and responsible for maintaining inventory at the minimum levels necessary to maintain operations and reduce obsolescence of spare parts.

$28/hr to $33/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• Active DOD Top Secret, will be in-processed for a DOE-Q Clearance (no, this does not affect the DOD clearance)
