Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to deploy and manage on‑prem cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure for C2BMC Global environments. This on‑site role is based at Schriever Space Force Base, CO and requires Top Secret clearance with no remote work.
You will build and scale Kubernetes clusters using NKP/OpenShift, automate with Ansible, and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
Qualifications
- Active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II+
- Top Secret DoD clearance required at start
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years experience or Master’s with 6 years, or 12 years experience as alternative to degree
Responsibilities
- Deploy, maintain, and manage on-premises cloud clusters using Nutanix and/or Red Hat OpenShift
- Scale enterprise Kubernetes clusters with NKP and OpenShift
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitLab Runners
- Automate infrastructure with Ansible
- Document configurations and procedures
- Support troubleshooting and maintain system stability
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to integrate capabilities
