Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer for Space Systems. This role can be based in Aurora, CO, Morrisville, NC or Sacramento, CA and requires a Top Secret clearance.

You will lead automated CI/CD pipelines, implement SCM standards, and optimize deployment and monitoring across agile teams. Applicants must hold US citizenship with TS/SCI and CI Poly requirements, plus experience with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform.

Qualifications

Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application.
Active U.S. Government CI Polygraph at time of application.
United States citizenship required.
Bachelor’s or higher with relevant experience or equivalent.
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform required.

Responsibilities

Plan and evolve processes and infrastructure for rapid capability maturation and deployment.
Integrate development pipelines with automated CI/CD and test frameworks.
Define build, deployment, provisioning, and monitoring standards.
Ensure SCM, code quality and automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
Work in an Agile team to automate deployment, monitoring and infrastructure management.
Create scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning.
Collaborate with development teams to enable CI/CD systems.
Monitor and support installed systems and infrastructure.
Oversee security, backups and redundancy strategies.
Evaluate performance, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
