Job summary

Bluegrass Stream LLC in Paducah, KY is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a Toolroom team in a manufacturing environment. You will lead tooling operations, develop skills across mould tools, press tools, machining, EDM, and fitting, and coordinate with Production Supervisors to plan workloads.

In this role you will implement TPM programs to reduce downtime, support engineering on new product development, and drive continuous improvement, safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma or equivalent in toolmaking or engineering.
• 5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Extensive tooling, manufacturing processes, and design knowledge.
• Proficiency with CAD/3D CAD, EDM, CNC milling; toolroom operations.
• Strong Lean and continuous improvement exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor the Toolroom team for efficient service delivery.
• Drive tooling processes for product development and manage tooling replacements.
• Develop team skills across mould/tools, press tooling, machining, EDM and fitting.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors to plan workloads.
• Implement TPM programs to reduce downtime and support NPD efforts.
• Lead transitions in press shop operations and manage tooling projects within CAPEX.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality and operational excellence.
