Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking an Advanced Tool Management professional to oversee in-house tool manufacturing, maintenance and testing, driving productivity and workmanship. You will lead the Tool room, coordinating resources to ensure tooling is produced on time and to spec, while upholding health, safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include implementing Standardized Work, developing best practices, and fostering vendor relationships for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years machine operator experience with 2 on CNC.
• Proficient with gauges such as dial bore gauge, micrometer, & profilometer.
• Ability to read and create spec sheets.
• Lean Principles understanding and application.
• Experience with costing reports to drive improvements.
• Technical understanding of products supported.

Responsibilities

• In-house tool manufacturing, maintenance, development and testing to meet business objectives.
• Lead and coordinate resources in the Tool room to ensure on-time, quality tooling.
• Implement and maintain Standardized Work & Work Instructions; grow vendor relationships.
