Job summary

Cook Polymer Technology in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Tool Room Supervisor. You will lead a small team, organize workflows, and ensure proper tools and instructions are available. You will assist the Manager in evaluating performance and resolving productivity issues.

The role requires handling tool room operations, maintaining safety, and coordinating with tool makers to meet work orders. Prior CNC/machining exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills.
• Experience reading tooling prints and leadership in a shop.
• Preferred: vocational schooling and CNC capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group in the Tool Room and assist the Manager with performance input.
• Assign work, order materials, coordinate tasks among tool makers.
• Ensure available tools, write instructions, and monitor policy compliance.
• Operate standard manual machining equipment and verify against prints.
