Job summary

Rehrig Pacific seeks a Tooling Manager to lead tooling operations in a plastic injection molding facility, ensuring safe, reliable mold maintenance and performance. You will manage a team of mold technicians, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, and oversee inventory and supplier relationships to support production goals.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and a track record in injection molding with MS Office/CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and work knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• 3+ years of direct management experience preferred.
• 5+ years of injection molding experience preferred.
• Strong Computer/Microsoft Office skills; be able to efficiently work with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of CMMS systems, preferably JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling operations, overseeing mold maintenance, repair and performance.
• Manage a team of mold technicians and drive preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Oversee inventory, supplier relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OEM standards and best practices.
