Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company seeks a Tooling Manager to lead all tooling operations in our plastics facility. You will drive safe, reliable mold maintenance, coach a team of mold technicians, and push continuous improvement to reduce downtime and support production goals.

You will partner with production, maintenance, and suppliers, manage tooling inventories, and guide PM/ Predictive programs while aligning with plant objectives and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• 3+ years of leadership experience (preferred).
• 5+ years of injection molding experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CMMS systems (JD Edwards preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safety & team leadership: create a safe environment and coach a mold tooling team.
• Tooling maintenance & reliability: supervise mold repair and PM programs.
• Technical support & improvement: troubleshoot tooling issues and drive improvements.
• Supplier & cross‑functional collaboration: align with production and tooling vendors.
