Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and operation of machinery in a plastic injection molding facility. You’ll complete preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems and perform reactive troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

You’ll work safely, collaborate with Production and Maintenance Supervisors, manage spare parts, and support continuous improvement projects to reduce scrap and boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/technical training a plus.
• Experience repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of injection molding, pneumatic conveying, chilled water systems, and grinders.
• Ability to read a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus: reading hydraulic schematics, welding, machining, Lean manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, compressors, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and more.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems to minimize downtime.
• Support kaizen events and continuous improvement efforts that reduce scrap and increase efficiency.
• Help manage spare parts inventory, assist with building repairs, and coordinate with contractors on system upgrades.
• Respond quickly to emergencies to keep production moving.
• Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Supervisors to keep operations safe and efficient.
