Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Tooling Manager to lead all tooling operations in a plastic injection molding facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient mold maintenance and performance. You will manage a team of mold technicians, drive PM/PPM programs, and support production goals.

The role requires strong mechanical and leadership skills, with experience in injection molding and proficiency in MS Office and CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• 3+ years of direct management experience preferred.
• 5+ years of injection molding experience preferred.
• Strong Computer/Microsoft Office skills; able to efficiently work with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CMMS (JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mold technicians, set expectations, manage performance, and provide training.
• Oversee tooling maintenance, repair, and preventive/predictive programs.
• Provide technical support to troubleshoot and solve root causes of mold issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support tooling performance and maintenance scheduling.
