Vestas in Brighton, CO is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to lead the Tooling Repair team in the Tooling Maintenance department. You will ensure electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, pumping, and hoist/crane systems function safely, minimize downtime, and support field projects in line with contractual obligations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Department, you will drive preventative maintenance, coordinate with planning, engineering, and parts procurement, and act as SME for your process area while

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years on-the-job/related experience preferable.
• Ability to lead a team and maintain safety standards.
• Knowledge of LEAN practices/principles is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Leads a team of 4 or more Maintenance Technicians with primary assignments in the same production area.
• Owner of Maintenance Support processes within assigned production area.
• Ensures that production and maintenance processes will be conducted safely.
• Works closely with Planning staff to ensure that the production plan is met.
• Understands process performance capabilities and takes action to meet and exceed those capabilities.
• Assists with troubleshooting of process problems and implements solutions to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
• Monitors equipment performance to identify errors and implements solutions to prevent recurrences.
• Co-facilitator or task-implementation lead of process improvement projects.
• Participation in technology transfer projects and new process introductions.
• Leads preventative maintenance plans and ensures execution in the assigned area.
• Interfaces with engineering and parts procurement to improve spare parts availability.
• Ensures data integrity across all shifts in their area.
• Recognized as SME in their process areas.
