Job summary

Vestas is hiring a Nacelle Assembly Technician in Brighton, CO to join our production team. You will assemble fabricated parts at floor stations using pneumatic and power tools to build nacelle units, ensuring quality and adherence to safety and process instructions.

The role requires prior manufacturing experience, ability to read English instructions, and a high school diploma or GED. Day shift from 5:00am to 3:30pm, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Familiarity with standard power and hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using hand and power tools at designated stations.
• Operate manufacturing equipment with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Follow Process Work Instructions and production procedures to ensure proper fit and assembly.
• Meet production standards within allotted time.
• Handle materials by lifting and positioning as needed.
• Use a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transport.
• Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components.
• Collaborate with fellow assemblers to complete final product.
• Test and inspect components to ensure quality and uniformity.
