Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Nacelle Assembly Technician to join our Brighton, CO team. You will assemble nacelle components using hand and power tools, interpret schematics, and work with a bridge crane to load and transport materials.

The role requires safety-focused work and adherence to work instructions to produce high-quality nacelle units. The position is full-time, on-site, with day shift hours Monday–Thursday 5:00am–3:30pm and some Fridays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is required.
• Familiarity with standard power and hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently assemble components using hand and power tools.
• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow Process Work Instructions and production processes to ensure correct assembly.
• Secure parts with bolts, screws, shafts and bearings as required.
• Meet production standards within the allotted time frame.
• Handle, move, and position materials as needed.
• Utilize a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transport.
• Interpret schematics to assemble machine components accurately.
• Collaborate with team to complete the final product.
• Test and inspect components for quality and uniformity.
