Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG in Aiken, SC is seeking a Tool Management Technician for a mini shift pattern. You will adjust and align tools, modify tooling systems, and manage tool crib operations while ensuring tooling accuracy and readiness for heavy-duty machining.

The role requires experience with CNC controls and tooling inventories, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency in a high-performance environment. The position offers full-time hours and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with completion of apprenticeship or tooling-training program.
• 3 years experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial tooling management in a heavy-duty machining environment.
• Knowledge of power tools, measuring devices, hoists and basic inventory control and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Siemens 840D CNC, Modicon, Allen-Bradley, RS Logic 500/5000 and CNC programming.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and align tools and modify systems on pre-set equipment according to machining specifications.
• Set and change specialty and standard tools in machining centers.
• Assemble and reassemble new, re-worked and prototype tools for tool crib operations.
• Inspect tooling quality by comparing to templates and measuring dimensions.
