Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Aiken, SC is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician for a Mini Shift. You will monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical components, coolant systems, and MTM washing machines, with a Friday–Sunday schedule and on-call flexibility.

A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered and training in Germany is required. Minimum requirements include an associate degree or equivalent apprenticeship with extensive CNC/machine tool experience, plus authorization to

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
Alternative: apprenticeship or training program with 7 years of machining maintenance experience.
Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines and Siemens 840D control.
Experience with machine tools, measurement devices and repair/maintenance.

Responsibilities

Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of the machines.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Knoll cooling lubricant tanks and MTM washing machines, including cleaning and refilling as necessary.
Monitor and ordering of bulk Nitrogen; monitor and repair transfer tanks.
Documentation of malfunctions and the measures taken with spare parts.
Coordinate training and provide coaching to less senior technicians.
