Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG in Aiken, SC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for large parts on the off shift. You will operate HELLER CNC centers with Siemens 840D controls, interpreting blueprints, setups, and quality plans to produce precision engine components.

The role requires 2 years in a machining environment or an associates degree, with strong math and SPC interpretation skills. Relocation assistance may be provided, and the team emphasizes safety and high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years in mechanical/machining trade or equivalent Associate’s degree; or 3 years in heavy duty machining environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of CNC-controls (Siemens 840D preferred) and associated tools.
• Strong math skills (arithmetic, geometry, calculus, statistics) and ability to interpret SPC.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC HELLER machining centers per instructions, routings and blueprints.
• Setup, adjust and run basic and specialized tools for precision machining.
• Check calipers, micrometers, gauges and fixtures; adjust per quality plans.
• Fine-tune tools and optimize CNC program for tool life and collision avoidance.
