Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician for the off shift in Aiken, SC. The role includes monitoring, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components, with responsibilities for Knoll cooling tanks, MTM washers, and related fluids.

Training in Germany will be required for 4-6 weeks, with relocation assistance and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. You may be on call occasionally and will train on first shift before switching as production demands require.

Qualifications

Associate degree or apprenticeship with several years of machining maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing.
Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines and Siemens 840D CNC programming.
Experience with machine tools, power tools, measuring devices and transfer systems.

Responsibilities

Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of CNC machines.
Maintain Knoll cooling lubricant tanks and MTM washing machines; clean and refill as needed.
Monitor and maintain machining and facility equipment and fluids; manage nitrogen and transfer tanks.
Document malfunctions and spare parts used; coordinate training of less senior technicians.
