Job summary

NOW Health Group INC is seeking a Tooling Inspection Technician to assist in repair and maintenance of machinery and electromechanical equipment in packaging and processing facilities. You will perform inspections, maintain tooling inventories, and collaborate with vendors to optimize processes.

The role emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and mastering tooling installation, cleaning, and disassembly to ensure optimal capsule filling performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes paperwork and initiates purchase order requests for parts and supplies.
• Develops inventory program to ensure tooling stays in good condition and properly stored.
• Collaborates with tooling vendors to optimize inspection processes and SOPs.
• Keeps current with tooling technology to maintain operational excellence.
• Identifies unacceptable tooling and determines root causes for corrective action.
• Maintains tooling cleaning, storage, and handling procedures.
• Develops polishing program to keep tooling in excellent condition.
• Determines inspection requirements for tablet and encapsulation tooling.
