Job summary

NOW Health Group INC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain complex processing and high-speed packaging machinery, equipment, and plant infrastructure. The role includes training and mentoring lesser skilled maintenance mechanics and collaborating with engineering on new equipment installations.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure safety and cGMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus a minimum of two years of related experience OR a minimum five years related experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of machine troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, fabrication, pneumatics, hydraulics, OSHA standards, cGMP’s, lock-out/tag-out is required.
• Food or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain complex packaging machinery and related equipment in a fast-paced facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance and root-cause analysis using CMMS systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment including A/C and D/C systems.
• Fabricate components using shop equipment and fabricate to drawing/specifications.
• Mentor lesser skilled maintenance mechanics and assist engineering with new equipment installations.
• Maintain stores inventory and keep the shop clean and organized.
