Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship/trade training preferred.
• Experience as Tool Maker with setup and operation of manual and CNC equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, EDM).
• Strong blueprint reading, GD&T, and metrology tool knowledge for precise measurement.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, alter, and repair tools, dies, jigs, gauges, fixtures.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specs.
• Set up and operate manual/CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders, EDM).
• Perform precision measurements using inspection tools to ensure tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot issues with tool performance and processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to optimize tool designs.
• Maintain and calibrate tooling and equipment for accuracy.
