Job summary

You will collaborate with engineers and production teams, apply metallurgical knowledge, and use CAD/CAM software to design tooling solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program in tool and die making or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the setup, operation, and maintenance of manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment processes, and material properties.
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform quality inspections.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software for design and programming of tools and dies.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new dies, tools, and fixtures.
• Repair and maintain existing dies, tools, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tooling and production processes.
• Operate a variety of machine tools, including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDMs.
• Perform precision measurements and inspections using various metrology equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tooling performance.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
