Qualifications

• Journeyman Tool and Die Maker certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience operating manual and CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders, EDM).
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment and material properties.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques (micrometers, calipers, CMM).
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Operate machine tools: lathes, milling machines, grinders, EDM equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot and repair dies and tooling.
• Set up and run presses for tryouts and short production runs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
