Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant in California to support a precision forging shop floor. You will issue, track, inspect, and maintain hand tools, gauges, dies, and equipment, while ensuring accurate inventory and safety.

Ideal candidates have experience in industrial environments, preferably aerospace/defense, and a background as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician. This role offers full benefits and a stable, production-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments, preferably aerospace/defense.
• Background as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician.
• Familiarity with tool crib operations: issuing, tracking, inspecting, and maintaining hand tools, power tools, gauges, dies, and shop equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and support calibration/maintenance schedules.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Issue and track hand tools, power tools, gauges, dies, and shop equipment.
• Inspect and maintain tools and shop assets.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with maintenance.
• Support tool calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with mechanics, machinists, and production staff.
