Job summary

Votaw Precision Technologies, LLC is a trusted leader in precision components for aerospace and defense, delivering quality and on-time performance. A Tool Crib Attendant is needed to pre-set and issue CNC and manual tools, track inventory, and keep tools organized in a secure tool crib.

Responsibilities include inspecting tools, maintaining records, and supporting production with timely tool availability in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to use complex equipment, read difficult instructions and schematics, and maintain written records.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and keep inventories in Excel.
• Ability to present information in small groups and work with measurements.
• Proven math skills and ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to interpret varied instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Experience with machine shop hand tools and measurement devices.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
• Maintains periodic or perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
• Receives, stores, and issues CNC cutting tools and equipment.
• Sets Cutting Tool Length and Diameters using presetters (training provided).
• Verifies returned tooling for wear and damage.
• Maintains inventory records and coordinates with shippers for discrepancies.
• Delivers tools to workers as needed and marks tools for traceability.
• Acts as a manufacturing line skills consultant to coworkers.
