Job summary

Votaw Precision Technologies, LLC is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to manage tool inventories and issue CNC and manual tools in a precision manufacturing environment. You will maintain perpetual records, verify incoming tools against orders, prep tools for setup, and support production by ensuring accurate, on‑time tool availability.

This role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced aerospace/defense manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to use complex equipment and read technical instructions.
• Read and interpret safety manuals, procedures, and schematics.
• Write routine reports and maintain inventories in Excel.
• Capable of presenting information in small groups and solving practical problems.
• Experience with CNC tools and tool holding processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate and manage tool and equipment inventory, ensuring traceability.
• Pre-set, issue, and deliver CNC and manual tools to shops.
• Maintain perpetual inventory and verify tools against POs.
• Inspect tools for wear and report damage; assist with tool maintenance.
• Support production by ensuring on‑time tool readiness for setups.
