Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare seeks a Grant Program Supervisor to lead the Tobacco Disparities Program grant in the southern Illinois region. You will coordinate senior staff, oversee subgrants, and ensure compliance with IDPH and grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Business, Marketing or related field.
• Three years experience in program development and management.
• Three years experience in community engagement/education.
• Administrative skills in data and survey collection.
• Must possess effective oral and written skills for large groups or individual presentations.
• Advanced computer knowledge and skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Tobacco Disparities Program grant and accomplishes grant goals and objectives.
• Oversee compliance with grant requirements and SIH policies.
• Convenes a regional coalition and manages subcommittees or workgroups.
• Develops a four-year strategic plan including data collection, evaluation, health communication and sustainability plans.
• Generates subgrants and manages budgeting, reporting, and subcontract administration.
• Maintains regular communication with the grant funder and serves as their primary contact.
• Coordinates expenditure reports and wage certifications with the Grants Department.
• Facilitates mass-reach health communications for the region targeting priority populations.
