Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in tobacco treatment or cessation counseling is required.
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, public health, health education, counseling, or related field.
• Master's degree can substitute two years of experience is mentioned in some contexts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Tobacco Control Initiative in assigned hospitals.
• Coordinate integration of cessation policies and treatment practices in health systems and clinics.
• Train administrators and providers; provide technical assistance.
• Engage smokers to determine cessation service interest and enroll participants; provide counseling and refer to services.
