Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare seeks a Tobacco Disparities Grant Coordinator to supervise the implementation of the Tobacco Disparities Program Grant and coordinate regional coalitions. The role reports to the System Director of Community Health and the SIH Grants Department.

• 3 years experience in program development and management.
• 3 years experience in community engagement/education.
• Administrative skills in data and survey collection.
• Effective oral and written communication for large groups or individuals.
• Performance management and grant implementation knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Illinois Department of Public Health Tobacco Disparities Program grant and achieve goals.
• Convene regional coalition and subcommittees with community stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain four-year strategic plan with data collection and health communication.
• Manage subgrants, budgets, and reporting to Grants Department; ensure compliance.
• Coordinate media outreach and partnerships to promote tobacco cessation efforts.
