Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising.

• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Accreditation as a Food Safety Manager or ability to attain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage Food Lion To Go operations, including staffing, training and development of department associates.
• Provide ongoing performance management and conduct regular appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order volumes and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Lead a culture aligned with Food Lion guiding principles, values and strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Coordinate with department managers to handle fresh orders and stockouts.
• Ensure proper handling of returns and perishable items with urgency and care.
• Model outstanding customer service and leverage product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Monitor store expenses through proper purchasing and equipment care.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS, scheduling, and ordering systems.
