Qualifications

• Must obtain Certified Food Safety Manager accreditation within 90 days of employment; maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order traffic while minimizing customer inconvenience.
• Provide leadership to promote a customer-focused store culture.
• Assist in achieving budgeted financial and operating results.
• Collaborate with department managers to ensure fresh orders and proper handling of out-of-stock items.
• Ensure proper return-to-stock handling, especially for refrigerated/perishable items.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and apply product knowledge to meet customer expectations.
• Control store expenses through proper ordering and use of supplies and equipment.
• Utilize company tools (ACIS, scheduling, CAO, etc.) and understand inventory systems.
• Ensure department appearance, food safety, sanitation and safety standards.
• Understand scheduling, sales projections, wage percent, interviewing, hiring and training responsibilities.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions; record accidents per procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and security standards.
• Complete CBT and training packets as required.
• Provide recognition and constructive coaching to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
