Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• NRFSP or equivalent food safety certification training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order traffic and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Lead store teams in line with guiding principles and values.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Coordinate with department managers on fresh orders and out-of-stock handling.
