Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Store Leader to oversee Food Lion To Go operations, guiding hiring, training and development of department associates. You will align scheduling and processes to meet online order demand while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining store standards.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong team leadership and a solid understanding of store operations, merchandising, and safety compliance. This role is on-site at our Raleigh location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or be eligible within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain schedules to meet online order demand and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Provide leadership to promote company values and achieve business goals.
• Support budgeted financial and operating results.
