Job summary

Food Lion in Carrboro, NC is seeking a Food Lion To Go Operations Supervisor to lead the front end To Go program, hire and develop department associates, and drive customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong store operations and merchandising knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and use technical information.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for specific job functions.
• Accreditation as a Certified Food Safety Manager or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise duties and conduct performance appraisals.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order demand.
• Provide leadership and motivate store team per guiding principles.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure proper handling of fresh/stock items, returns and perishable items.
• Use company tools for scheduling, ordering, and inventory (ACIS referenced).
• Maintain store appearance, safety, and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company guidelines.
• Assist Front End operations as needed (greet customers, help with orders, carts).
