Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic, client-focused Environmental Lead for the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector. The role focuses on environmental planning, permitting, and regulatory services across HDR’s global TMT portfolio, including data centers and telecommunications infrastructure.

The candidate will lead strategy, client engagement, and project delivery while collaborating with market leadership and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading environmental planning and permitting programs.
• Experience building executive-level client relationships and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop HDR's environmental strategy for the TMT Market Sector.
• Lead permitting and regulatory programs for data centers and telecom projects.
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships.
• Mentor and develop environmental professionals supporting the TMT sector.
• Collaborate across regions to align environmental strategy with market goals.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
