Job summary

HDR is seeking a TMT Environmental Lead to drive environmental strategy, permitting leadership, and regulatory alignment for data centers, fiber networks, and digital campuses worldwide. You will build senior client relationships, shape HDR’s environmental services, and guide cross-functional teams across regions.

The role reports to the TMT Market Sector Director and requires a deep understanding of land-use planning, permitting processes, and a track record of delivering complex,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional, architecture, engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading environmental planning, permitting, and regulatory programs for major infrastructure projects.
• Professional registration (where required) for leadership roles in environmental planning and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HDR's environmental strategy for the TMT Market Sector.
• Lead permitting and land-use strategies for data centers and telecommunications facilities.
• Advise clients on regulatory requirements and project risk across multiple regions.
• Mentor teams and support business development and pursuits.
