Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic, client-focused Environmental Lead for the TMT sector to drive environmental planning, permitting, and regulatory services across data centers and telecom infrastructure. The role partners with Market Sector Leadership to grow HDR’s environmental services globally.

The position reports to the TMT Market Sector Director and collaborates with regional leaders to align strategy with market needs, while maintaining strong client relationships and advancing HDR’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration for leadership roles in architecture/engineering is preferred.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across regions.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead HDR's environmental strategy for the TMT Market Sector.
• Support strategic planning and market growth initiatives across HDR's TMT portfolio.
• Lead permitting, land use, and regulatory strategies for data centers and telecom projects.
• Foster client relationships and lead business development activities.
• Mentor environmental professionals and coordinate cross‑office collaboration.
