Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic, client-focused TMT Environmental Lead to provide leadership in environmental sciences, planning, permitting, and regulatory services across the global TMT market. The role partners with sector leadership to align environmental strategy with client needs and HDR’s growth objectives, and can be based at any HDR office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading environmental planning, permitting, and regulatory programs.
• Professional registration in Architecture/Engineering preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead HDR's environmental strategy for the TMT Market Sector.
• Lead permitting programs supporting data centers, fiber networks, and digital infrastructure.
• Oversee land-use planning, entitlements, zoning, and related regulatory processes.
• Build senior-level client relationships and pursue strategic growth opportunities.
• Guide project delivery with a focus on quality, technical excellence, and collaboration.
• Mentor and develop environmental professionals across regions and practice groups.
