Job summary

Gateway Community Service Board is seeking a motivated dual-role candidate for a TMS Technician and Clinical Research Assistant position. You will support the TMS clinic operations, conduct standardized assessments, and assist with data collection and regulatory documentation.

The role involves delivering TMS treatments, coordinating research activities, maintaining study databases, and communicating with clinicians and participants.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biology, Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences, Social Work or related field.
• Experience in clinical research, psychiatry, behavioral health, medical assisting, neuroscience, TMS, patient care, or clinical coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work compassionately with psychiatric patients.
• Proficiency with EMR, REDCap, Microsoft Office and regulatory systems.

Responsibilities

• Screen potential research participants and coordinate participant visits.
• Administer standardized research questionnaires and assist with informed consent procedures.
• Enter research data into databases and maintain study databases with high accuracy.
• Assist with IRB submissions and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and develop recruitment materials under supervision.
• Deliver TMS treatments according to prescribed protocols and monitor safety and response.
• Provide direct patient care and build therapeutic rapport during treatment.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments and manage insurance authorizations and records.
